For the past seven years, the Oakland Symphony has joined forces with the City of Richmond to present a free Independence Eve Celebration at the Craneway Pavilion. This free event is fun for the whole family, with live music, food, an instrument petting zoo and spectacular fireworks over the bay! More info.
July 3: Oakland – Oakland Athletics Fireworks Nights
Jaw dropping displays of color set to themed music highlight A’s Fireworks Nights during the 2015 season. Following each Fireworks game, fans will be invited to sit on the outfield grass to enjoy the sky high show. More info.
July 3: Mountain View – He Said, She Said @ Civic Center Plaza | Free, Live Music, Food & Drinks, 6-7:30PM
Join your friends and neighbors and bring your blanket or lawn chair down to the Civic Center Plaza for a variety of musical performances. In addition to the music, there will be food trucks, a “Pop Up Park” area for children and for adults, beer and wine. More info.

July 4: Fourth of July Celebration @ Pier 39 | Free, Fireworks
Flash! Sparkle! Pop! It’s Fourth of July! PIER 39 celebrates Independence Day with fun for the whole family featuring musical entertainment and activities in our Entrance Plaza. At approximately 9:30 PM, The City of San Francisco will treat spectators to an elaborate fireworks display over the San Francisco Bay. The best location to enjoy a festive Fourth of July is at PIER 39. More info.
July 4: View Fourth of July Fireworks @ Ghirardelli Square | Free
Ghirardelli Square is center stage to San Francisco’s July 4 celebration. The city sets off fireworks from the end of the Municipal Pier and from barges north of Pier 39. Best places to watch (from land): Aquatic Park (Jefferson and Hyde streets), the Cannery, Ghirardelli Square, other waterfront spots at Fisherman’s Wharf, and Coit Tower. More info.
July 4: Fourth Of July @ Shoreline Amphitheatre | San Francisoc Symphony Concert & Fireworks Display, 8PM
Join the San Francisco Symphony at Shoreline Amphitheatre for the annual concert and fireworks spectacular as the San Francisco Symphony celebrates the Fourth of July. The Alameda 4th of July Parade is one of the largest and longest Independence Day parade in the nation. With over 170 floats and 2,500 participants who travel a three mile route, the parade has become the central activity of the Bay Area’s Fourth of July weekend. More info.
July 4: Alameda – July 4th Aboard The USS Hornet | Noon-10PM, Live Concerts On The Flight Deck, Explore The Ship, Family Activities, Food & Drink, Fireworks Viewing
The USS Hornet is one of the most decorated ships in naval history. Now serving as a world-class sea, air, and space museum, the USS Hornet is permanently docked at the former Naval Air Station in Alameda. Visitors can explore many decks of the historic aircraft carrier, including flight deck, captain’s bridge, sick bay, pilot ready rooms, and much, much more. More info.
July 4: San Jose – Rose, White, & Blue Parade & Festival | Family-Friendly, Live Music, Dancing, Food & Drink
Enjoy an old fashioned family-style parade as it winds through the Rose Garden neighborhood ending on the grand avenue of the The Alameda. This homespun parade features live bands, dance groups, home-made floats, kids on bikes, antique cars, and more. More info.

The 4th of July Parade is the premier holiday parade in the region and takes place in the heart of Downtown Redwood City. This treasured event brings thousands of excited spectators to enjoy an incredible array of parade floats and numerous family festivities. The tradition continues as we celebrate Independence Day at the 34th Annual City of Palo Alto Summer Festival & Chili Cook-Off on Saturday, July 4. With live music featuring Rockin’ Down the Highway (Music from the Doobie Brothers); a variety of children’s activities; art activities by the Palo Alto Art Center, and more. More info.
July 4: Sausalito – July 4th Festivities | Parade, Live Music, Fireworks Display, Family-Friendly Activities, Food & Drink
This three-part event begins with a parade of floats, bands, classic cars, local officials, and organizations. The Parade starts at Second and Main Streets and ends at Dunphy Park. After the parade, the party starts at Dunphy Park with food and entertainment, tug of war, an egg toss, live music, and dancing. The finale at Gabrielson Park features more live music and entertainment followed by Sausalito’s legendary fireworks display. More info.

Build your float for the Parade! The annual 4th of July celebration that the Highlands is famous for, is fast approaching. And to make it happen we need help to come from all around the Highlands. The Highlands Independence Day celebration theme for 2015 is “Come One, Come All”. More info.
July 4: Free Tipsy Tow Program – Get A Free Ride / Tow Home | 6PM. July 4th – 6AM. July 5th, 800-222-4357 (AAA-HELP)
AAA is proud to offer its Tipsy Tow program on select holidays and special events. We offer a free ten-mile tow home for drinking drivers and their vehicles. The Tipsy Tow program is open to everyone. More info.
July 4-5: Fillmore Jazz Festival | Free, Live Jazz Music, Food & Drink, 10AM-6PM
Blending art and soul in one of the country’s most unique neighborhoods, the Fillmore Jazz Festival is the largest free Jazz festival on the West Coast.
