It’s going to be another beautiful spring weekend and there are many great San Francisco events, festivals, and more including Third Thursdays Art Walk in Yerba Buena today,The Yard Pop-Up Village Opening Day @ Mission Rock on Friday, Funcheap’s Corn Dog Day festival on Saturday, the Bacon & Beer Classic Festival in San Jose on Saturday, and the opening day of the  Macy’s Flower Show on Sunday! Below is a list of several fun events, and most of them are FREE!

2015 San Francisco / Bay Area Weekend Events: March 19-22

All Weekend: CAAMFest @ New People Cinema & Various Theaters
CAAMFest is the nation’s largest showcase for new Asian American and Asian films; annually presenting approximately 130 works in San Francisco, Berkeley and Oakland. Since 1982, the festival has been an important launching point for Asian American independent filmmakers as well as a vital source for new Asian cinema. More info.

All Weekend: ODC/Dance Downtown @ Yerba Buena Center for the Arts Theater
ODC/Dance, San Francisco’s internationally acclaimed contemporary dance company, presents its 44th annual home season. Among the season highlights are Dead Reckoning, a world premiere by KT Nelson set to a commissioned score by Joan Jeanrenaud; the premiere of Brenda Way’s “The Invention of Wings,” and a work by New York-based choreographer and guest artist Kate Weare, titled “Still Life with Avalanche”. All Weekend: San Francisco City Golf Championship @ Presidio and Lincoln Golf Courses
The oldest consecutively played amateur, match play, golf tournament offers men’s, women’s and men’s senior championship flights as well as men’s and women’s open division flights; semi-final and final matches at TPC Harding Golf Course. More info.

The pop-up village is constructed out of recycled shipping containers that will house local food and drink establishments, pop-up shops, public open space and cultural and community programs and events. Join us as the Wheel of the Year turns toward the sunshine. Rain or shine, it will be a beautiful day in Golden Gate Park. This ritual especially involves young people, and includes an egg-hunt for kids afterwards. March 21: Midnight Mystery Ride SF Chapter | Free, Group Bike Ride Every Third Saturday
Participants are expected to a) meet at a local bar, b) depart for a ride at midnight, c) bring provisions for sharing at ride destination, and d) be awesome. Ride start location will be posted to our website the day of the ride. Only the ride leader knows where we’re going so bring your sense of adventure.
