May 1-3: San Jose – Cinco de Mayo Festival @ Santa Clara County Fairgrounds | Carnival Rides, Live Music, Food & Drink, Family-friendly
Come join us for the 2015 Cinco de Mayo festival/fair! It’ll be three days of fun and exicement, so bring all the kids. There will be plenty of food and drinks for purchase at the fair as well lots of exctiting rides. There’ll also be a live band playing all day! More info.
May 2: Cinco De Mayo Festival @ Valencia Street | Mexican & Latin American Culture, Food, Music, Family-Friendly Activities, 10AM-6PM
The San Francisco Cinco de Mayo celebration will return to the heart of the Mission District as we celebrate one of our City’s most spectacular traditions. The celebration will showcase the very best of Mexican and Latin American cultures with a diverse array of Mexican and Latino foods, music, dance and artistry for the entire family to enjoy. May 3: Cinco De Mayo @ San Francisco Athletic Club | Margaritas & Tacos, Mariachi Band & DJs, Costume Contest, Pinatas & Games, $10, Noon-7PM

May 3: Baile en la Calle: The Mural Dance @ Brava Theater Center | Free, Mural Tours, Dance Performances
Baile en la Calle is a tour, guided by a Precita Eyes docent, of the historic murals along the 24th Street corridor brought to life through performances by local choreographers and dance companies. The tour will end at the 24th Street mini-park, where an unveiling of a restored Ralph Maradiaga mural and a re-dedication of the mini-park as Ralph Maradiaga Park will follow at 3pm. More info.
May 3: Oakland – 5 de Mayo Festival @ Fruitvale Transit Village | Live Music, Food & Drink, Giveaways, 11AM-4PM
The 5 de Mayo Festival in Fruitvale is an artistic and cultural display of latino traditions in celebration of 153 years of history. Located at the Fruitvale Transit Village, it is an experience for all the senses. Join us for a day of music, performances, merriment and of course, tons of delicious food! More info.
May 3 & 5: Taco-Chella @ SoMa StrEat Food Park | Cinco de Mayo At The Park, Free, Tacos, Magaritas, DJs, Piñatas, 11AM-5PM
We’ll have several trucks – including some of SF’s best traditional Mexican taco trucks, plus other trucks offering their own unique spin on this classic Mexican street food. More info.
May 5: Free Tipsy Tow Program – Get A Free Ride / Tow Home | 6PM. May 5th – 6AM. May 6th, 800-222-4357 (AAA-HELP)
AAA is proud to offer its Tipsy Tow program on select holidays and special events. We offer a free ten-mile tow home for drinking drivers and their vehicles. The Tipsy Tow program is open to everyone. More info.
May 9: Eye Heart Block Party @ Public Works | Three Stages of Music, Food & Drinks, 21+, 1PM
