All Month: Free San Francisco Walking Tours | Golden Gate Park, Castro, Chinatown, Excelsior, City Hall, Fisherman’s Wharf, & More
City Guides is a non-profit organization with more than 200 trained volunteers who lead FREE history and architectural walking tours in San Francisco. Walk along the streets, sidewalks, and byways of America’s most beautiful – and fascinating – city! More info.

May 2: Cinco De Mayo Festival @ Valencia Street | Mexican & Latin American Culture, Food, Music, Family-Friendly Activities, 10AM-6PM
The San Francisco Cinco de Mayo celebration will return to the heart of the Mission District as we celebrate one of our City’s most spectacular traditions. The celebration will showcase the very best of Mexican and Latin American cultures with a diverse array of Mexican and Latino foods, music, dance and artistry for the entire family to enjoy. More info.

May 2: Free Comic Book Day @ Bay Area Comic Book Stores | Free, Giveaways, Exclusive Comics 
Free Comic Book Day is an annual tradition, held the first Saturday in May each year, where participating comic book shops give away comic books absolutely free to anyone who comes into their stores. More info.

May 9: SF International Beer Festival @ Fort Mason Center | Beer, Food, Entertainment, $75, 21+, Doors at 7PM
For over three decades the San Francisco International Beer Festival has raised money for the Telegraph Hill Cooperative Nursery School. The staff is made of proud parents who donate their time to bring you this historic San Francisco festival. More info.

May 9: Uncorked! Wine Festival in Ghirardelli Square | Tastings, Demonstrations, Live Music, 1-6PM
Ghirardelli Square hosts the annual UnCorked Wine Festival where we bring over 50 top-tier wineries, live entertainment, cooking demonstrations by top San Francisco chefs, and wine education seminars. More info.

May 9: Eye Heart Block Party @ Public Works | Three Stages of Music, Food & Drinks, 21+, 1PM
An indoor & outdoor Frisco fiesta! Highlighting DJ’s from San Francisco representing different scenes, styles, and sound. Thousands of party-goers expected throughout the day, all guests are encouraged to get ‘Festive’ with colorful costumes, and spirited accessories. More info.

The largest gathering of Asian Pacific Americans in the nation will be back when the Asian Heritage Street Celebration. The event commemorates Asian Pacific American Heritage Month and comes at a unique moment in San Francisco’s history when the mayor and more than a third of San Francisco’s supervisors are Asian Pacific Americans. May 16-17: San Mateo – Maker Faire @ San Mateo County Event Center | Family-Friendly, Tech, Inventions, & Engineering Showcase

May 30: SF Pride Official Kickoff Party @ Hotel Whitcomb | Live Entertainment, Drinks, Hors d’Oeuvres, Auction, Raffle, $75, 7-10PM
2015 marks the 45th Anniversary San Francisco LGBT Pride Celebration and Parade. Start the festivities at our Official Kickoff Party at the historic Whitcomb Hotel. Rub elbows with 300 LGBT movers and shakers, meet the SF Pride 2015 Grand Marshals up close and personal. More info.
