All Month: Free San Francisco Walking Tours | Golden Gate Park, Castro, Chinatown, Excelsior, City Hall, Fisherman’s Wharf, & More
City Guides is a non-profit organization with more than 200 trained volunteers who lead FREE history and architectural walking tours in San Francisco. Walk along the streets, sidewalks, and byways of America’s most beautiful – and fascinating – city! More info.
June 5: Oakland – The Art Murmur First Friday Art Walk | Free, 40+ Galleries, 6-9PM
On the first Friday of every month, Oakland Art Murmur hosts an evening art walk featuring member galleries and mixed-use venues collectively open to the public. OAM is an organization of over 40 galleries that produces weekly art walks, guided tours and other exclusive events. More info.
June 6-7: Union Street Festival | Wine & Beer Tastings, Food, Arts & Crafts, 10AM-6PM
Six block festival on fashionable Union Street will feature unique “Worlds” including, Fashion World, Culinary World, Tech World, Local World, Craft World and Health & Fitness World. In addition, the Festival will host Craft Beer and Wine Tasting Pavilions. More info.
June 13: SF Juneteenth @ 762 Fulton Street | Free, Parade, Health Fair, Petting Zoo, Live Entertainment, Classic Car Show
Saturday, June 13, 2015 marks the 65th Annual San Francisco Juneteenth Festival, the largest gathering of African-Americans in northern California. It is a popular event among the more than 440,000 black households in the Bay Area because of its historical significance to the community. More info.
June 13-14: North Beach Festival | Free, Live Music, Food & Drink, Arts & Crafts, 10AM-6PM
One of the country’s original outdoor festivals, we’re situated in the historic North Beach District, known to locals and visitors alike as San Francisco’s Little Italy and the home of the famed beat generation. The event will feature arts and crafts booths, food booths, two stages of live entertainment, Italian street painting, beverage gardens, kid’s chalk art area and the blessing of the animals. June 14: Haight Ashbury Street Fair | Family-Friendly, Music, Arts & Crafts, Food & Drinks
The Haight-Ashbury Street Fair is dedicated to celebrating the cultural history and diversity of one of San Francisco’s most internationally celebrated neighborhoods. HASF features arts and crafts, food booths, three musical stages, a Family Area (Children’s Alley) and more. More info.
June 20-21: San Mateo – SummerFest @ B Street Between Tilton & 6th Ave | Free, Street Festival, Live Music, Food & Drinks, Family Activities, 10AM-6PM
Join us for our 3rd Annual Downtown San Mateo SummerFest! Enjoy a variety of fun summertime activities as you stroll through historic downtown: the preferred downtown destination for shopping, dining, working, living, and meeting on the San Francisco Peninsula. More info.
June 27 & 28: SF Pride Celebration @ Civic Center | Festival, Music, Food & Drinks, Noon-6PM
The SF Pride Celebration will be held in downtown San Francisco in Civic Center at the foot of historic City Hall where Harvey Milk once stood and addressed Pride-goers more than thirty years ago. Featuring over 200 parade contingents, 300 exhibitors, and more than 20 stages and venues. More info.
June 28: SF Pride Parade @ Market Street | Free, 10:30AM
San Francisco Pride has been said to be “one of the last remaining pride events that can truly be called a rite of passage.” It is also the largest LGBT gathering in the nation.This year’s theme: Equality Without Exception. More info.
