The first Haight-Ashbury Street Fair was held on April 30, 1978, to the fanfare of the neighborhood and the City. Since then, the street fair was moved to the second weekend in June where it has become a San Francisco cultural event.

At this year’s event, you can listen to a variety of live music performers on two stages. Acts include headliner band: Barry “The Fish” Melton & Nick Gravenites, who play on the Stanyan Stage starting at 3:45pm.

This fair also features more than 200 booths with food, merchandise, & information on community outreach programs. Spend time perusing the arts & crafts while sampling the delicious eats while you take in the entire jovial, harmonious and inspirational atmosphere!

The 2015 event will also once again feature Children’s Alley where you can watch family entertainment and play games all day long. You will find this on Belvedere Street just off Haight.

All activities for the Haight Street Fair take place on Haight Street between Masonic and Stanyan Streets.
