July, 2015 San Francisco Event Highlights:

All Month: Free San Francisco Walking Tours | Golden Gate Park, Castro, Chinatown, Excelsior, City Hall, Fisherman’s Wharf, & More
City Guides is a non-profit organization with more than 200 trained volunteers who lead FREE history and architectural walking tours in San Francisco. Walk along the streets, sidewalks, and byways of America’s most beautiful – and fascinating – city! More info.

July 1-5: San Rafael – Marin County Fair | Family-Friendly, Live Concerts, Fireworks Every Night, Carnival Rides, Food & Drink
This weekend come out & enjoy family-friendly fun with live concerts, carnival rides, fireworks every night, food & drink, at the 2015 Marin County Fair in San Rafael! There will be the fair favorites as well, including competitive exhibits, fine arts, crafts, & photography, a film festival, & so much more! More info.

July 4: Fourth of July Celebration @ Pier 39 | Free, Fireworks
Flash! Sparkle! Pop! It’s Fourth of July! PIER 39 celebrates Independence Day with fun for the whole family featuring musical entertainment and activities in our Entrance Plaza. At approximately 9:30 PM, The City of San Francisco will treat spectators to an elaborate fireworks display over the San Francisco Bay. The best location to enjoy a festive Fourth of July is at PIER 39. More info.

July 4: Oakland – July 4th Festival Of Family Fun @ Jack London Square | Free, Family-Friendly, Live Entertainment, Food & Drink, 11AM-4PM
Celebrate Independence Day at Jack London Square! This festive day will fill the waterfront with interactive activities and entertainment for both parents and children. Free to attend, the event will also feature tasty treats, music and much more! (Sorry no fireworks!) More info.

July 4-5: Fillmore Jazz Festival | Free, Live Jazz Music, Food & Drink, 10AM-6PM
Blending art and soul in one of the country’s most unique neighborhoods, the Fillmore Jazz Festival is the largest free Jazz festival on the West Coast. Visitors can groove to the sounds of live music from multiple stages, browse the offerings of over 12 blocks of fine art and crafts and enjoy gourmet food and beverages. More info.

July 5: Stern Grove Festival @ Sigmund Stern Grove | Free Concerts In The Park, 2PM, Sundays
This year the Stern Grove Festival in San Francisco celebrates its 78th anniversary. The 2015 season lasts from June 14 to August 16. Every Sunday at 2pm, you will find a free concert in the park. The shows usually last two to three hours and are wildly popular. Some of last year’s artists included Smokey Robinson, Patti Austin and the Funky Meters. More info.

July 5: San Francisco Women’s World Cup Viewing Party @ Civic Center | Free, Soccer Skills Activities, Food & Drink, 4PM

July 10-11: Salsa Festival On The Fillmore @ Fillmore Center Plaza | Dance Performances & Classes, Live Entertainment
During this two-day event, you can brush up on your dancing skills, watch dance performances, listen to live music, and dance outside at the Fillmore Center Plaza. In addition to dancing on the plaza, you will find three blocks of Salsa Bands, DJs, and dance instructors. More info.

July 12: San Francisco Sunday Streets in Tenderloin| Free, Closed Streets, Music, Activities, & More
Sunday Streets closes stretches of city streets to automobile traffic, and opens them to people for several hours on a various Sundays throughout the year, so participants can enjoy a large, temporary, public space where they can bike, walk, run, dance, do yoga, or do any other physical activity. Non-profit and health organizations offer free activities and share information about their services during the event. More info.

July 17-19: Renegade Craft Fair @ Fort Mason Center Festival Pavilion | Free
Features a thoughtfully curated selection of today’s finest independent Makers. Attendees will partake in an exciting weekend of shopping for handmade wares, participating in DIY workshops, and exploring installations and activities with some of the best indie makers around. More info.

July 19: San Rafael – Breastfest Beer Festival @ Fairground Island | Fundraiser, Beer Tasting, Food, Live Music, Raffle, $55, Noon-4PM
Buy your ticket to the annual Breastfest and get endless eats, bottomless cups and live music. Proceeds will benefit low-income women with breast cancer. More info.

July 30-August 2: Piercy – Reggae On The River @ French’s Camp In Humbolt County | Live Outdoor Reggae Music Concert
