This event is a three mile moderate hike including a few uphill stretches and various surfaces, such as sand and rocky areas. Sunday Streets closes stretches of city streets to automobile traffic, and opens them to people for several hours on a various Sundays throughout the year, so participants can enjoy a large, temporary, public space where they can bike, walk, run, dance, do yoga, or do any other physical activity. Non-profit and health organizations offer free activities and share information about their services during the event. More info.

This year the Stern Grove Festival in San Francisco celebrates its 78th anniversary. The 2015 season lasts from June 14 to August 16. Every Sunday at 2pm, you will find a free concert in the park.
